Solutions30 and Community Fiber join forces for FTTH deployment in London

  • An outsourcing contract purchased that aligns with CFL’s desired results of FTTH coverage, delivery effectiveness, and quality.
  • The goal is to deliver more than 200,000 homes in 2 years across London

London based internet service provider community fiber and Solutions30a leading provider of services to the telecommunications industry, is pleased to announce the signing of a subcontracting partnership awarded to pass over 200,000 London households, enabling them to connect to the Community Fibre network, with more projects expected.

This contract is based on an innovative “created model” in which both parties have adopted a win-win arrangement to align their interests and goals. Based on the lessons learned from other fiber deployment plans in Europe, this contract is structured to maximize the quality of the network, as well as the economic efficiency of the project, without compromising the speed and predictability of deployments that will accelerate the return of the investment.

To enable great acceleration and meet expectations regarding rapid delivery, Solutions30 will bring in UK employees and contractors, but will also find highly qualified resources from other countries where Solutions30 is deployed and has significant references in FTTH deployments.

Commenting on this deal, Graeme Oxby, CEO of Community Fiber, explains: “This acquired outsourcing contract is a new step in the relationship we started with Solutions30 last year. We are pleased to have them on board to help us achieve our ambitious implementation goals. This innovative partnership, based on mutual trust, transparency and collaboration, will enable us to deliver exceptional value to our clients and investors.”

Paul Garston, CEO of Solutions30 in the UK says: “This is the second major outsourcing contract that Solutions30 has signed, we are very pleased to have the opportunity to replicate the successful model of our sister company in Belgium. The award of this contract demonstrates the ambition and continued growth of Solutions30 in the UK fixed telecommunications market. Our European presence and experience in FTTx projects bring much-needed additional skills and capabilities to the UK market, which we are delighted to offer to Community Fibre.
