A hairstylist has revealed the common styling ‘mistake’ people always ask for that leaves clients looking a bit ‘off the shelf’.

And more often than not, indecision often ends in disaster, as stylist Joie Judge mentions.

The clip sees Joie sitting in a salon in front of a mirror rocking her ‘blunt/no layers’ haircut with ‘beach curls’.

In the text overlay, she explains to her followers the ‘common mistake in hair slang’, followed by a series of hideous undercuts.

The TikToker warns her followers never to ask their hairdresser for ‘a layer or two.’

In case anyone else was wondering, another person asked, “What’s your color formula? I’m platinum and I want to go back to natural and that’s the perfect color!”

The TikToker revealed: “Unfortunately, it’s my natural color with little hints of blonde at the end of my bleach and tone in 2020.”

Well, we’ve all been there – when the hairdresser has absolutely butchered your barnet and there’s just nothing you can do.

She said: “I take good care of my hair. I’m a good person. Why? Why did this happen? Why didn’t anyone stop her? What is this?”

“This is my hairstyle. She did it! I looked in the mirror and thought my self-esteem was about to take a nosedive.”
