All restaurants awarded a Michelin star in 2023, including one in the West Midlands

No less than 20 restaurants received their first Michelin star in a special ceremony tonight (Monday March 27) with one of our local restaurants among them. Grace and Savor in Solihull received a Michelin star at the event held at Silverstone.

It was a big night for the West Midlands as it regained one of the stars it lost when Peel’s closed in 2022. That restaurant had a star for seven of its 14 years at Hampton Manor.

Grace and Savor is based in the same location, in the walled garden of the Hampton in Arden estate. Run by head chef David Taylor and his wife Anette, the restaurant is among 20 to earn a Michelin star this year.
