Andrew Lloyd Webber announces his son’s death, says he is ‘destroyed’

Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced that his son has died. The theater icon posted the sad update on Saturday night (March 25) as fans rushed to support him.

“I am heartbroken to have to announce that my beloved eldest son Nick died a few hours ago at Basingstoke hospital. His entire family is reunited and we are all totally heartbroken. -ALW,” he wrote.

In response, one fan wrote: “Lots of love to all of you Andrew. This is such a sad and difficult time for his family but I hope you feel the outpouring of support and love from everyone in the wonderful world of theater.”
