Birmingham City are looking for a rare league win over Blackburn Rovers when the two sides meet this weekend.

In the last decade, the Blues have only three wins in 17 Championship meetings. Rovers have won eight of those games, including the last five in a row.

The Lancashire side also narrowly won the recent FA Cup replay in Birmingham. An Aaron Trusty own goal saw the visitors progress to the fifth round that day in January.

With 16 points and 12 places separating them in the table, Blackburn will be the favorites to win this tie for the sixth time in a row. But Birmingham have picked up some form of late, winning two of their last three games, as many as they had won in the previous 12 games combined.

The highlights will be shown on ITV4’s EFL highlights program on Saturday night, starting at 9pm. A replay will air at 23:45 on the main ITV channel. Key moments from the match will also be uploaded to the club’s YouTube channel and website.
