Renewed Aldi reopening with special offers and a sushi bar

A new Aldi off the A38 is reopening with special offers on garden supplies to mark the launch. The budget supermarket chain said the Worcestershire store would be larger to accommodate more, including a special Lacura health and beauty section and a sushi bar.

Aldi on Bath Road, Worcester, reopens on Friday 31st March at 8am It will include areas dedicated to fresh British meat and fish, plus a new and improved ‘Takeaway’ section offering fresh salads, sandwiches and sushi.

Mamia baby care products will also be stocked, while the ‘Aldi Aisle’ will promote weekly shopping specials starting Thursday and Sunday. The Aldi has been refurbished as part of a £600m Project Fresh renovation scheme to update stores across the country and is reopening with a special offer.

The special offers for the reopening week will be garden and patio products. They include a pressure washer for £119.99, a 10-pack of wooden decking tiles for £19.99 and slate effect planters for £12.99.

The remodeling of the store aims to make shopping easier for customers. With that in mind, fresh bread and cakes have been moved to the last aisle so they don’t get squashed under customers’ purchases.

Other changes include new easy-to-navigate freezers in the store with 30 local employees. The photo below shows what the store will look like after the changes.
