Ricky Gervais Armageddon tour tickets for Birmingham date go on sale

Known and loved for The Office, Extras and After Life, Ricky Gervais has announced that he is coming to Birmingham as part of his Armageddon tour. The award-winning comedian, actor, writer and director has already visited some of the UK’s biggest venues and today he shared a date in Birmingham.

Gervais’ 2021 SuperNature tour was a huge success and was said to have become one of the most-watched comedy specials of the year on Netflix, when it aired in May 2022. Netflix has already purchased the rights to Armageddon which will air as Ricky’s next Netflix special in early 2024.

He is currently taking Armageddon around the world throughout this year and into 2024. He will arrive at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on Monday 4th September.

As Gervais has done with his previous tours, proceeds from the most expensive Platinum tickets to his shows will be donated to charity. He has won three Golden Globes, two Primetime Emmys, and seven BAFTAS.

‘The Office is the most successful British comedy of all time’, shown in more than 90 countries with seven remakes. The NBC version is said to be the most successful American remake of a British show in over 30 years.

Gervais is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most downloaded Internet program of all time. He has written, directed, produced and starred in ‘Cemetery Junction’, ‘The Invention of Lying’ and starred in ‘Ghost Town’. In 2010, Gervais was named to TIME Magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World and received the Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award from the Banff World Television Festival.
