Stacey Dooley Announces New Documentary She Filmed When She Was Eight Months Pregnant

Stacey Dooley has announced a new documentary, which she filmed when she was eight months pregnant. The new mom gave birth to her daughter Minnie, whom she shares with Strictly Come Dancing pro Kevin Clifton, in January.

And she revealed that she was busy working until the end of her pregnancy. Stacey was actually making a documentary about Ukrainian civilians undergoing military training in the UK as they prepared for the birth of their daughter.

The star revealed that it had been “hard work running after soldiers across the fields” while heavily pregnant. Stacey Dooley: Ready for war? will air on BBC Three and iPlayer in April.

Stacey announced the new documentary on Instagram, writing: “I made this film in December. It was HARD WORK chasing soldiers through the fields at 8 months pregnant, but so worth it!

“The access was unprecedented, and I have to thank Ed at the MoD for his help and trust. It was a team of women on the ground. SO good, and I’m VERY lucky to have such a strong team of women.

“But most of all, a sincere thank you to all of our Ukrainian partners. Your honesty and openness show us the human cost of this invasion. Thank you.”
