festival promoter Ian Chadderton comments: “Bristol’s alternative scene means everything to me. He accepted me with open arms and everything I do is a testament to how I have grown over the past decade as I immerse myself in this wonderful city. This festival is a chance to show the world why I fell in love with Bristol and a chance to give back to the place that gave me everything.

“An important part of the spirit of the festival is awareness of mental health, diversity and inclusion. We have partnered with an amazing organization called Heads Above The Waves, which is a non-profit organization that raises awareness about depression and self-harm in youth. They promote positive and healthy coping mechanisms and remind people that they are not alone. We also strive to promote gender equality, which is at the heart of our event, with 50% of acts featuring female and/or non-binary members.
