House hunters looking to buy a house in Manchester can expect to pay around £219,800 today, according to Zoopla’s latest House Price Index. The median cost of home ownership across the city has skyrocketed 6.9 percent over the past year, making home buying that much more unaffordable.
Despite the upward trend of the last few years, the good news for buyers is that real estate experts say that prices will start to fall soon. In its latest UK house price report published on February 28, Zoopla says it expects monthly price declines for the next two to four months, which is good news for new buyers.
With the average home price currently running around £220,000, we searched Zoopla to find a range of Manchester homes for sale around this amount to see how far you can stretch your money when buying property in the city region.
