London Underground closures on March 17: see the full list here

With the weekend just around the corner, it’s time to check which TfL planned closures will take place from Friday to Sunday.

As with most weekends, some stations will be closed or partially closed for TfL to carry out essential work.

We’ve put together a quick list of all this weekend’s work to make sure you don’t get stuck and can plan ahead.

For the most up-to-date Underground statistics, you can use the TfL app or website.

Friday, March 17

Waterloo and city line: The service operates from Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 00:30 only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Saturday, March 18

circle line: Until 8.30 am there will be no service on the entire line.

district line: After 14:00 there will be no service between Barking and Upminster. Replacement buses will operate between Becontree and Dagenham East only.

elizabeth line: Until about 6am, westbound trains to Reading and Heathrow, which usually depart from the mainline platforms at Paddington, will be revised to start at Ealing Broadway.

All trains serving the Elizabeth Line platforms at Paddington are operating as normal.

hammersmith and city line: Until 2:00 p.m. there will be no service on the entire line. Instead, replacement buses will operate.

Of surface: All day, and until 9:45 p.m. on Sunday. On March 19 there will be no service between South Tottenham and Barking Riverside.

Use the Victoria Line connections between Seven Sisters (for South Tottenham) and Walthamstow Central and use the local buses between Barking and Barking Riverside.

Replacement buses will operate between Walthamstow Central and Barking.

Metropolitan Line: Until 8.30 am there will be no service between Wembley Park and Aldgate. Instead, use the Jubilee Line connections for central London.

Waterloo and city line: The service operates from Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 00:30 only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Sunday, March 19

district line: No service between Becontree and Upminster. Replacement buses will operate between Becontree and Dagenham East only.

elizabeth line: Until 7.45am a reduced service will run between Paddington and Ealing Broadway.

The first direct trains operate from Paddington at 5:57am to Heathrow Terminal 4 and 7:48am to Reading, 6:33am from Heathrow Terminal 4, 7:40am from Maidenhead and 7:54 am from Reading.

Of surface: As of 9:45 pm on Sunday there will be no service between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside.

Use the Victoria Line connections between Seven Sisters (for South Tottenham) and Walthamstow Central and use the local buses between Barking and Barking Riverside.

Replacement buses will operate between Walthamstow Central and Barking.
