key responsibilities

In this Student Services Officer role, your responsibilities will include:

– Respond to telephone inquiries without an appointment and received locally at reception

– Assist the Student Services Manager and other administrative colleagues in collecting student attendance data, communicating with truants, and maintaining the school system

– Ensure that service level agreements are met at all times, both internally and externally

– Dealing with visitors or guests when necessary as per Schools policy

– Develop a solid working knowledge of the company database, following established policies and processes

– Prepare welcome packs for new students.

– Updates and maintains the School’s database with student details.

– Maintains accurate records of student attendance and communicates any absences to the academic management team in a timely manner.

– Check that all students have full ID, visas or police checks to comply with UK law.

– Make the general file and photocopy required by the School.

-Assist the management team with administrative tasks as needed.

skills and experience

* Improved DBS update service
* Education at grade level or equivalent
* Relevant experience in the Education sector
* Experience working in a Customer Service role
* Ability to multitask and meet a range of priorities
* Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
