Aldi’s latest refurbished store in Nottingham to reopen this week

Shoppers in a Nottingham suburb are counting down as their local Aldi store is set to reopen after receiving a ‘new look’. The retailer’s Daybrook store closed on Saturday (March 18) for remodeling and will reopen to customers at 8 a.m. on Thursday (March 23).

The transformation is part of Aldi’s £600m investment to improve its stores and services across the UK. It is based on feedback from over 50,000 customers.

Commenting on the work done so far, store manager Charles Raynor said: “The store looks fantastic and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see for themselves. We are committed to making sure that purchases. The experience that each customer enjoys in our stores is on par with the products and services to which they are accustomed.”

With 1,006 square meters of retail space, the budget retailer said the store layout will provide a layout that is “more customer-focused” and “allows the products customers know and love to find themselves more easily, while they explore new ranges “. The new store, which employs 35 staff members, will provide additional space dedicated to fresh British meat and fish, as well as popular Lacura health and beauty products, alcohol, baby care products and a new and improved Food to Go section. The remodel will create two additional jobs.

Shoppers will need to get used to a reorganized store, but there will be “more space and clearer signage,” according to the retailer. Fresh bread and pastries have been moved to the last aisle, preventing them from being squashed under customer purchases, and the store will have “easy to navigate” freezers.
