‘DH Lawrence Edition’
February 2 to May 27, 2023
Lawrence is an iconic figure in English literature, but also one of its most controversial.
He struggled with publishers throughout his career to express himself the way he wanted.
This exhibition will trace the ways in which the Eastwood-born writer found his writing amended and censored and how he found innovative ways to respond to this.
The exhibition is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm at the DH Lawrence Birthplace Museum, 8a Victoria St, Eastwood, Nottingham NG16 3AW.
Exhibition in our space
We organize a program of temporary exhibitions in our gallery space. We love promoting our local community, so if your group has an exhibition that you think would work well in our gallery space, please contact us.
