Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has contacted UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin to request the appointment of elite referees for his upcoming Super League Play-Off matches.

Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis was up against the refereeing standard this week following a meeting with the Greek FA (EPO) and chief refereeing officer Steve Bennett.

The Greek government has now requested the help of UEFA to reorganize the Greek football federation.
