Fashionistas looking for value and softness have said the £6 sweaters from Marks and Spencer (M&S) are “just perfect”. Jumpers are compared to cashmere.

The high street retailer’s jumpers are part of the brand’s super soft range, which have been designed to feel comfortable and look stylish. The cozy knitwear comes in 17 different colors; however, as M&S’s range of Supersoft crewneck sweaters has been reduced from £17.50 for some colourways, stocks are now low.

A hit with shoppers, fans say the items are easy to dress up, and are an inexpensive wardrobe staple they can wear to work or play. The jumpers are made from a super soft cashmere-like fabric and are designed to stay comfortable wash after wash, according to the retailer’s website.

Cut in a regular fit with ribbed trim along the body and cuffs, they have been designed with a simple and versatile style that can be combined with almost any outfit. Listed in sizes six through 24, crewnecks come in a range of colors from petal pink, pale pink, hot pink, cloud pink, dark pink, hot pink, black, hot mauve, lupine, hot purple, chambray, dark blue, turquoise, navy blue, mint green, dark sage and lime.

According to the Manchester Evening News, shoppers were impressed by the versatility and softness of the jumpers, and have come out in a number of different colours. Racking up over 3,000 five-star reviews on the M&S website, one five-star reviewer wrote, “Beautiful and soft. Pairs well with jeans and regular dress pants.” A second said: “It’s a simple classic design. Soft touch and a beautiful deep blue.”

A third wrote: “Lovely soft material. Sweater fits great and color is nice.
