Nottingham Forest and Everton ‘interested’ in £17m transfer after manager hinted at departure

Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao, and the Reds are said to be among four clubs fighting for his signature this summer.

According to Mondo Udinese, Everton are currently in control of the situation, but Inter Milan and Napoli have also requested information as they discuss a move for him when the window reopens.

Forest is claimed to have attempted to sign centre-back Becao in the January window with the 27-year-old in the last 18 months of his contract and is expected to leave.

“Other requests come mainly from the Premier League with two clubs in particular who are really interested in his performance.

“The first is nottingham forest who tried to sign the Brazilian already this January. The second, however, is Everton, who have been in control of the core situation for longer.”
