Pedro Porro sends a three-word message to the Tottenham Hotspur fans after beating Nottingham Forest

Tottenham Hotspur full-back Pedro Porro has sent a message to the fans following Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Nottingham Forest.

Spurs really needed a positive result against Forest after being knocked out of the Champions League by AC Milan in midweek.

This turned out to be a great day for Tottenham as they swept Forest away.

Porro set up the first goal, a cross for Harry Kane to plant a header into the net.

Kane converted the second from the penalty spot as Richarlison was brought down by Joe Worrall before Son Heung-min added the number three from a Richarlison cross.

Worrall pulled one back for Forest and Spurs received a late scare as the visitors won a penalty, only for Andre Ayew’s effort to be saved by Fraser Forster.

That win was absolutely vital, not just because of a test week in north London, but also because Liverpool, Tottenham’s main four rivals, lost to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Pedro Porro sends a message to the Tottenham fans

This was an encouraging performance for right-back Porro as well.

The Spaniard had a difficult league start for Spurs in their thrashing at Leicester City but seems to be establishing himself now.

Porro picked Kane with a fine cross for the opener on Saturday and his all-round display was encouraging.

Porro recorded three key passes, one interception, one clearance and two successful dribbles in a promising performance.

This comes after Porro looked like a real threat against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, so he appears to be gathering momentum.

Porro loves to post a message after a game; last week he just said ‘never give up‘ after the loss at Wolves.

This week is much more positive as Porro posted ‘big win today’ on Twitter along with a photo of her celebrating with Son.

That connection to a Spurs star already bodes well for Porro and the Spurs look forward to more big wins with Porro on the team in the future.
