Richarlison saw something done that angered the Nottingham Forest man during the 3-1 win

Richarlison started for Antonio Conte as Tottenham recorded a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

The Tottenham number 9 criticized the Italian for dropping him after Wednesday’s 0-0 draw against AC Milan, and although he failed to make the score once again, he still found himself heavily involved.

Richarlison scored a goal that was ruled out by VAR, while he was also seen doing something that angered Steve Cooper in August.

What is the history?

Well, the South American took a lot of flak during Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday August 28 after juggling the ball while the game was going on.

Richarlison was smashed to the ground by Brennan Johnson after some Nottingham Forest players felt he was being disrespectful.

Cooper was also not happy: the Daily Mail quoted him as saying at the time: “I wouldn’t want my players to do that, to do what Richarlison did, but if that’s acceptable at Spurs it has nothing to do with me.” . It wouldn’t be accepted here, that’s for sure.”

Now, during Tottenham’s win over Nottingham Forest earlier today, the £60m man was once again seen juggling the ball, as can be seen below.

Fortunately for Richarlison, he didn’t get kicked this time around, though he was certainly playing with fire after Cooper openly criticized him for juggling the ball in August.

Tottenham looked much better under Richarlison against Nottingham Forest

While the Brazil international is surely upset to go another game without scoring, you can be pleased with his performance: Spurs looked much more fluid in attack with him, and also Pedro Porro, in the starting eleven.

As WhoScored shows, Richarlison recorded two key passes, one of which converted into an assist for Heung-min Son, while also earning three free throws and two successful tackles.

It was an industrial display from Richarlison and hopefully he keeps his place in the starting XI as a result.
