A healthcare recruitment agency has moved to larger premises in a prominent Sheffield building and has recruited new staff.

Hallam Medical is a framework accredited recruitment agency and provides temporary staff to the NHS and private health services across the UK.

The company, which employed 50 people at its former City Gate headquarters in St Mary’s Gate, has taken over 8,650 square feet of space on the second floor of the eight-story Westfield House. It has already added ten more employees and another ten will be recruited next month (April 2023).

Deborah McCain, CEO of Hallam Medical, said: “We offer highly-skilled professionals in settings and services across the UK, but we’re proud to be based in Sheffield, where it all started in 2007.

“Our move to Westfield House comes at a time of continued growth and success, with an active recruitment campaign currently underway. The property is a good fit for our needs and is located in the center of Sheffield.”

Located on Charter Row, Westfield House comprises 80,000 square feet of office space and is wholly owned by Westfield Health, which occupies 50,000 square feet of building space after moving from its previous Division Street location in 2016.

The 15-year deal was negotiated by Knight Frank’s Sheffield office on behalf of health and wellness provider Westfield Health, with Ben Spencer of Wake Smith Solicitors providing legal advice to Westfield.

Peter Whiteley, partner and head of Knight Frank’s Sheffield office, said: “Hallam Medical took the second floor on a 15-year lease, moving in after the final fit-out work was completed.
