      Feb 14, 2023

The Sky Blues return to action midweek when they take on Millwall at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Mark Robins’ team will take on the Lions as they look to avenge a 3-2 loss earlier this season.

      Meet the Lions:

Millwall will enter the Coventry Building Society Arena fifth in the Championship, thanks in part to an impressive run of recent results.

Since crashing out in the FA Cup at the hands of Sheffield United, the Lions have won two of their last three games, beating QPR and Cardiff City.

Record signing, Zian Flemming provides Millwall’s main attacking threat. He has already scored 10 goals this season. His partner in attack, Tom Bradshaw, has also scored seven.

However, they have managed just seven clean sheets to City’s 13 this season.

      Inside the Sky Blues Camp:

Looking ahead to Tuesday night’s match, Mark Robins said: “We’re up against a Millwall side who also have ambitions to be in the play-off places at the end of the campaign.

“It is a team with a lot of experience and quality at this level, and it seeks to break the rival’s way of playing. Due to their size they are also a threat from set pieces.

“We have to deal with that threat tonight and be well organized.”

      Match Officials:

Matthew Donohue will be the man in the middle for the midweek fixture, taking charge of his third game of the season for City.

The English referee was in charge of Coventry’s matches against Reading (H) and Sheffield United (A).

Donohue has taken charge of 22 games so far this season, handing out 77 yellow cards and one red, dispatching John Egan against the Sky Blues at Brammal Lane.
